Our story began not in a boardroom, but in a sun-drenched craftsman studio nestled in the hills of Paso Robles, California, where a love for softness and sentiment first found its shape.
Founded over a decade ago by two childhood friends with a shared love of keepsakes and thoughtful design, St Pauls Collective started as a weekend market stall selling hand-curated plush pieces sourced from small artisan makers. What began with just a few shelves and a hopeful vision has since evolved into a beloved destination for those who value not only beauty and quality, but also connection.
Rooted in Community, Woven with Care
Our California roots run deep. From our early days partnering with Paso Robles Library's Storytime & Snuggles series, to launching the annual Cuddle for a Cause drive, where we donate plush toys to local family shelters, we’ve always believed in giving softness back to the community that nurtured us.
Each spring, we host the Paso Pop-Up Picnic, where families gather in the vineyard hills with blankets, plush friends, and picnic baskets—an event that’s become a joyful tradition of shared stories and new memories. In the fall, our Stitch & Sip Night brings together local crafters for plush repair workshops over mulled wine and music, breathing new life into well-loved companions.
And every December, our Letters to Hugsy campaign invites children to send letters to their favorite plush character—receiving handwritten responses, a little surprise gift, and the warmth of being seen.
